The Drama Lab Workshop by The Junction Academy
Enroll your little one in this workshop to hone their stage skills and to get them to perform in front of a live audience. The workshop, taught by seasoned professionals, will teach them how to emote, to modulate their voice and mind their body language. It will also culminate in a spot at the famous Short + Sweet festival that’s coming to Dubai early next year.

Junior Actor’s Winter Camp by The Courtyard Playhouse
Registrations for the acting/theatre Winter Camp for kids of ages 8 to 11 is open now. The three-week camp, starting December 11, will explore a different topic each week, with a showcase of that week’s exploration at the end of the period. The first week takes on the magical world of Harry Potter through theatre. The second week will delve into Dr Suess’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas and the third week will take on Cressida Cowell’s How to Train Your Dragon. Fee starts at Dh1,215 per week. Early bird discounts are available before November 11.
Acting with EnAct
Up your acting skills with EnAct’s weekly classes, which are held every Sunday at Powerhouse Studioz, Damac Business Heights, Barsha Heights. Rashmi Kotriwala walks the students through the basic principles of acting. The classes are designed to allow participants to test their knowledge with practical exercises and tasks. Other than covering the basic elements of the training of the mind, body, and voice to effectively fulfill the demands of a role, the course also teaches one how to approach the scripts and characters, prepare for a role, and more. You are required to sign up for at least three months (12 sessions). Timings: 11am to 12pm on Sundays. Cost: Dh1,550 for three months.
