Play ‘Barcode Prison’ unlocks laughs as part of Sharjah International Book Fair

Ready yourself for a laugh-out-loud time when you go to see ‘Barcode Prison’, a play about inmates and how they interact with one another.

In the musical, set to run on November 3, 4 and 5 at Expo Center Sharjah as part of the Sharjah International Book Fair, felons talk about their histories and what landed them in the jailhouse. Told through song and funny stories, this is a must-watch.

Among the cast of what is considered the biggest Emirati theatrical production in 2023 are Marwan Abdullah, Ahmed Mal Allah, Musa Al Bukishi, Bader Hakmi, Haifa Al Ali and Reem Al Faisal.

Tickets to see ‘Barcode Prison’ at Expo Center Sharjah on November 3-5 start at Dh150. They are available on Platinumlist.net. The three-hour show starts on November 3 and 4 at 8pm. On November 5, it kicks off at 6pm.
