Register now for Short+Sweet Theatre Dubai 2024

You can now register for the 11th edition of the Short+Sweet Theatre 2023 festival. It will run over the weekends (Saturday and Sunday) from January 13 to March 3, 2024, at The Junction, Al Serkal Avenue.

The theater festival for everyone. No matter what format your story is in - monologues, ensemble pieces, mime, musicals in any language - no matter what your experience with theatre is. The only rule is, your performance should not exceed 10 minutes.

Audience members and judges get to vote for their favourite play. The one that gets the most votes will move on to the next round (People’s Choice Semi-Final and Judges Choice Semi-Final on Feb 24 and 25)

The winning plays will then perform at the Red-Carpet Gala Finals from March 1 to 3. Whether you are an actor, writer, theater group or director - register and get ready for a show!

The deadline to enter a script is Tuesday October 31st, while the deadline to register as an actor, theater group or director is Wednesday November 15th. To register, go to the Short+Sweet website.
